SUMMARY
The Human Resources Analyst will act as a liaison between HR, Transportation, and Operations, working with a cross-functional team to manage complex HR processes and programs between the business units.
Responsible for the human resource functions of the Tucson Unified Transportation and Operations Departments, this position coordinates the design, management, and success of the TUSD outreach and recruitment program. Integrates an efficient and effective sourcing campaign, and tracks application metrics, hiring methods, and practices using effective recruitment strategies. Manages recruitment initiatives to ensure that well-qualified employees are hired in a timely and efficient manner to meet TUSD and departmental needs. Works alongside the Transportation and Operations Leadership Team to ensure adequate staffing levels are consistently maintained and reports out to District Level leadership regarding recruitment initiatives and metrics
REPORTS TO: Program Coordinator, Senior - HR
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Two years of recruiting, human resources, project management, or business management experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and related software.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
PHR, SHRM-CP or related HR Certificate
Experience in student transportation or school district operations.
Knowledge and experience with online recruitment platforms and in-person recruitment events.
Strong data analysis experience.
Working knowledge of HRIS or hiring of ERP systems such as Infinite Visions, TimeClock Plus, TalentED, etc.
Bilingual.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day
